Khazanah Nasional is the investment holding arm of the Government of Malaysia and is empowered as the Government's strategic investor.As trustees to the nation's financial assets, our main objective is to promote economic growth and make strategic investments on behalf of the Government which would contribute towards nation building.

The Khazanah Scholarship Awards, a premier scholarship programme sponsored by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, invites Malaysians of outstanding academic and all-round ability to apply for our inaugural scholarship for 2006. Applicants who are planning to pursue their undergraduate or post-graduate studies should have an impressive record of participation and leadership in extra-curricular or social and voluntary activities. Khazanah Scholarship Awards will be offered to scholars to undertake studies in the world's best universities to pursue studies in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Investments. Other related courses would also be considered.

Eligibility

  1. For Undergraduate Studies: Malaysian Citizen, Obtained at least 8A1's in SPM year 2005, Active in co-curricular and / or voluntary activities.
  2. For Postgraduate Master Degree Studies: Malaysian citizen, Good Second Upper degree or CGPA of 3.5 and above at the undergraduate level, Show an excellent service record (for those with working experience), Involvement in co-curricular or voluntary activities.
  3. For Postgraduate PhD Degree Studies: Distinction scores and / or excellent evaluation reports of Master thesis or 'A' grade average at the Masters degree in the same discipline as intended for the PhD, Show an excellent service record (for those with working experience), Involvement in voluntary activities.
