The Group has been involved in Charitable activities for more than two decades through its private foundations in Asia: the Kuok Foundation in Malaysia and the Joyce M. Kuok Foundation and the Zhen Ge Ru Foundation in Hong Kong. These Foundations proved grants and donations for educational and medical causes including scholarships for tertiary study.

KUOK FOUNDATION BERHAD invites applications for the Kuok Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Award 2007 from Malaysian citizens applying for or currently pursuing full time undergraduate studies at the following institutions.

Kuok Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Award 2007

Field Of Study
Undergraduate courses undertaken and completed in Malaysia only including “3+0” foreign degree courses with accreditation by LAN. Priority given to science stream courses.

Eligibility

Malaysian Citizenship

Genuine financial need and good academic results.

Must possess relevant pre-university qualifications, eg. STPM or equivalent.

Scholarship Value
Loans or half-loan half-grants ranging from RM10,000 to RM25,000 per annum depending on courses undertaken.

Application forms may be obtained from :-

14th Floor, Wisma Jerneh, 38 Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur

(2) The Student Counsellor / Registrar of the respective universities / colleges

Request for forms must be accompanied by :-
(1) a copy of the candidate’s latest examination results;
(2) name of course and university/college at which you are studying or intend to study;
(3) a stamped (50 sen) self-addressed white envelope (16 cm x 23 cm) if by post.
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview.
Completed application forms should reach the Foundation no later than 31 JANUARY 2007.
