Malaysia Scholarship 2008-2009

The Malaysia Australia Colombo Plan Commemoration (MACC) scholarships for aspiring Malaysians to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Australia next year is now open for applications.  

Launched in October 2001, the MACC scholarships builds on the spirit of the Colombo Plan and has supported about 4,000 Malaysians to study in Australia from the early 1950s until the mid 1980s. 

The Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (MACC) scholarships, which offers full and partial scholarships to students applying for tertiary education at institutions of higher learning in Malaysia and Australia, aims to strengthen ties between both countries. 

1. ANU College- offering 4 partial fee scholarship for the Foundation Studies Program in 2007. Applications are due 10th November 2006 for the 2007 intake.Click here to review terms and conditions, and to apply.
   
2. Macquarie University - offering 1-full fee scholarship for any undergraduate or postgraduate course (excluding MGSM, Master of Accounting and MAF programs) for the Semester 1, 2007 intake. 3. La Trobe University offering 1-full fee scholarship for any undergraduate degree program including study abroad for Semester 1, 2007 intake. Applications are due 12th January 2007 for the 2007 intake.Click here to review terms and conditions, and to apply.
   
4. University of Newcastle offering 1-partial fee scholarship for the following programs (Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Economics or Bachelor of Finance) for Semester 1, 2007 intake. 5. The University of Queensland - is offering 100% tuition fee scholarships for the Bachelor of Economics and postgraduate scholarship for the following courses (Master of Business Economics, Master of Health Economics or Masters of International Economics & Finance) for the Semester 1, 2007 intake. 9. University of Wollongong - is offering 1 scholarship covering the full tuition cost for one (1) session for students entering Year 1 of any undergraduate program for entry in 2007.
