To
commemorate its 50th anniversary in 1985, Fujitsu Limited established this forward-looking scholarship program with the objective of
providing business people from the Asia-Pacific region with the opportunity to study cultures, values and management styles of Japan, the
United States and China to strengthen relations and foster mutual understanding within this region. The Fujitsu Scholarship is available
for academic program at JAIMS (the Japan-America Institute of Management Science).
The Fujitsu Asia Pacific Scholarship (Fujitsu Scholarship) Program, sponsored by Fujitsu Limited, provides
financial assistance for postgraduate education and cross-cultural management training to participants from the Asia-Pacific region. Fujitsu
Limited, an international leader in information technology, telecommunications, semiconductors and electronics that is headquartered in
Tokyo, established the Fujitsu Scholarship to commemorate its 50th anniversary in 1985.The Fujitsu Scholarship program is
available for academic programs at JAIMS (the Japan-America Institute of Management Science). JAIMS, located in Honolulu, Hawaii, is a
nonprofit postgraduate institute established by Fujitsu in 1972. Many Fujitsu Scholarship recipients/graduates are now working for corporate
and social-service organizations in their home countries as well as in other nations.

Scholarship)
Field Of Study The Intercultural Management Program (ICMP) is a four-month graduate diploma program at JAIMS that
primarily trains non-English speakers about American business management. Global business and intercultural issues are also explored. ICMP
consists of coursework in Honolulu and one week in Japan. All courses are in English. The program is offered twice a year, beginning in March and
September.
Eligibility

Full-tuition scholarship and a monthly stipend are available to citizens
of the following countries: Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar*, the Philippines, Sri Lanka,
Thailand, and Vietnam.

Full-tuition scholarship with no monthly stipend is available to citizens of the following
countries/areas: State of Hawaii, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.

You must qualify for admission to ICMP. For complete information, refer to the ICMP program
brochure and application documents contained in the ICMP Application Checklist section.

A bachelor's degree or one equivalent to a four-year standard baccalaureate degree in any
discipline from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.

Grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

A minimum TOEFL score of 500/173/61 (paper/computer/Internet), TOEIC score of 600 or IELTS
overall band test result of 5.00 or higher from tests taken between November 2004 and November 2006. Applicants who received a
bachelor's degree or an advanced degree that comprises at least two years of full-time coursework within the last five years from
a regionally accredited institution in the U.S., Australia, United Kingdom, or New Zealand; or from a university in Canada,
Africa or Singapore where English is the language of instruction are exempt from taking the TOEFL, TOEIC, or IELTS.

A minimum of three years of relevant full-time work experience at time of
application.
Scholarship Value The Fujitsu Scholarship proceeds include tuition and fees for the ICMP program. Other proceeds, which vary in amounts
each year, are also included.
Fujitsu Ltd. will provide the air ticket to cover transportation from the participant's home country to Honolulu, and
from Honolulu to the participant's home country. The selection of the air carrier and travel agent, including the itinerary, is at the
discretion of Fujitsu Ltd. In the event the participant wishes to change and/or expand the route and/or the period of stay, Fujitsu
Ltd. reserves the right not to provide the ticket.
Fujitsu Ltd. will provide medical insurance that will cover a portion of the participant's medical expenses during the program period,
provided that the participant pays all medical expenses not covered by the medical insurance. The selection of the medical insurance plan is
at the discretion of Fujitsu Ltd.
JAIMS will assist in locating appropriate housing in Honolulu for all participants. Fujitsu Ltd. will provide and will pay directly for
accommodations in Japan for participants.
Participants will be assisted in obtaining the F-1 Student visa to enter the U.S., if applicable. ICMP participants will be assisted with the
appropriate visa to enter Japan, if necessary. The expense of obtaining the visa is the financial responsibility of the
participant.
