The Astro Scholarship Awards provide financial support of up to RM150,000 per scholar, per year. Areas of study include graduate and undergraduate courses in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Humanities and Performing Arts that are related to the media and broadcasting industry.

Customers of Astro and their immediate family members who wish to be considered for one of these awards are invited to apply.
AREAS OF STUDY
Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees in Malaysia:-

* Bachelor / Master of Engineering, Computer Science or Science related to media and broadcast technology including Computer Graphics.
* Bachelor / Master of Arts in Mass Communications, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology and related courses in Humanities.

Undergraduate Degrees Overseas:

* Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Acting, Design, Production) in National Institute of Dramatic Art, Australia (NIDA) or any other reputable school of dramatic art.
* Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science or Science related to media and broadcast technology including Computer Graphics.

The Astro Scholarship Awards are applicable to all accredited local and foreign universities and institutions for tertiary education.

Online Application Forms:

The Astro Scholarship application must be submitted online. No mail-in application will be accepted.

Hi,

I just finished form 5, my strength in in dance and performing arts. I am now in my final level of ballet(advance ll). I am studing ballet and ballroom in William & Luisa Danceworld(under the tutor of renown Mr. William Lor and Ms. Luisa Lau- a husband and wife team) and currently I am also furthering my ballet with Ms. Ellie and Mr. Zhou Gui Xin( also a very prominent and very good dance teachers-husband and wife team also).

I am also a top ametur latin dancer repersenting malaysia( I am a regular competitor at the penang dance competition shown in Astro yearly).

Can I know how to apply for a scholarship in Dance and Performing Arts from Astro?

i’m currently taking diploma in electrical engineering. i’m in my final year now, that is sem 5 and will be going 4 practical next year(sem6). practical wouldn’t be counted in the cgpa hence, can i apply for the scholarship to study abroad for degree once i finished sem 5 n get the result? if so, how can i do it because right now i x have any guidelines.
