MIED Education Loan

Maju Institute of Education Development (MIED) offers RM43 million in loans with an average disbursement of RM6 million to RM7 million annually. The loans are open to all Malaysians.

Eligibility criteria
You must have at least five credits in the SPM examination. Priority is given to Malaysian students pursuing studies at Malaysian institutions.

Loan coverage
The loan covers up to 100% of tuition fees.

How to apply

You can obtain the application form from MIED. Please contact MIED to find out the date for applications.

I am 19 years old and I am currently waiting for my A-Levels results ( which will be out end of January 2008). My father is the sole breadwinner for the family and my mother is a housewife. I have two younger sisters - one is doing her SPM while the other just finished her UPSR. I had obtained 5As and 5Bs in SPM.

I am really interested to do Chemical Engineering at University Tunku Abdul Rahman which costs RM36k for four years.

Let me introduce about me .Im Sivakalai a/p Nadarajah ,28 years female jobless…I’d finished my Advanced Diploma in Business IT 3 years back…….I gained PTPTN loan for my advanced diploma still now i cant pay it coz no job ive no any other income…therefore , i couldnt continue my degree…REcently , i get an offer for continue my degree b’coz of this problem i coulndt do my degree as well.

Completed My Master In Business Administration (MBA) and i got 4.1 grade and got offer to do my PHD at the same university by the way my dad is 73 years old and my 63 years im that supporting my parents. Good day..i completed my STPM in 200 and obtained 3As and a B.Currently i am quitting from studying in a public university in Malaysia . I intended to study in a private institution in Malaysia . I intend to get a full loan . Does the loan require my parents consent or signatures . My dad married a man without divorcing my mother . So at the moment they have seperated . kindly introduce myself here, my name is wong ck..
i finished my stpm and i scored only cgpa2.0++…but im truly interested in medicine course in indonesia which i allowed to apply with my 2005 spm result( 5A’s and 7B ’s) for premedical…
my dad is the only breadwinner and he got no EPF or savings at all,and i suppose this loan is my last resort..
the course for the medic is rm136k and i probably needs rm54k for the fisrt payment which is must be paid before any further study could be made..
its getting my head big, assistance from this fund would much be appreciated…

I came to understand that MIED gives out loans/scholarships to students who want to study locally and abroad. I have completed my Australian Maticulation and received a TER score of 80%. I had 10A1s for my SPM. I have tried to apply for scholarship from JPA and other sources but so far no sucess. I have been offered to do Bachelor of Psychology in a University in Australia. I am really looking forward to do this degree I have real interest in Psychology. I believe when I graduate I can be a great help to our society and children as we lack Psychologists in our country which is progressing quite fast. I would very much appreciate if you could advise me on how to get the forms and loan. I very much appreciate any help I can get as my mother is the sole breadwinner of the family.
