As banker to the community, OCBC purpose is to help individuals and businesses across communities achieve their aspirations by providing them with innovative financial solutions. In the same helping spirit, OCBC Bank has a programme designed to support the community, centred on helping children and youths realise their full potential.

OCBC social responsibility programme continues on from the legacy of our founder, Lee Kong Chian, who in the 1950s actively made contributions to schools and libraries and helped many children and youths fulfil their aspirations through education. OCBC continues to encourage and support academic excellence by awarding 10 scholarships annually to help youths to pursue their academic dreams. Understanding that these youths would have their own aspirations after graduation, our scholarships are awarded without any conditions attached.

hie im carrie ong..im currently pursuing my diploma in business at kdu college penang and this is my final year. i finished my spm at 2005. my family income is about rm2000. my most recent cgpa is 3.17. am i entitle for this scholarship because i hope to continue my degree in uk.hope to hear from your side soon. thanks for the attention

now i,m studying at matricuation college and i managed to get PNGK 4 in my first sem exam…beside that i also get 8A’s at my spm exam ….i hope you can give me a chance to prove myself by giving me this scholarship…thanks..

my name is vincent and i am one of the top ten student in perak.the subjects that i took were account, economy, business, maths and PA with the CGPA of 4.0.in nasional level, i obtained third place in my economy competitoin an i was also quite interested in my co-coriculum.i really interested in the field of investment especially in foreign currency.and i willing to attend any interview convenient to you.the reason i apply for this schorship is financial restraint problem.
