Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (PERODUA), established in 1993, is a joint venture company between Malaysian and Japanese partners. The shareholders of Perodua are UMW Corporation Sdn Bhd with 38% stake, Daihatsu Motor Co. Ltd. (20%), MBM Resources Bhd (20%), PNB Equity Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd (10%), Mitsui & Co. Ltd (7%) and Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (5%).

Perodua Scholarship Award 2008 is now open for application for Malaysian students that meet requirement as below :

General Criteria
Malaysian citizen.
Not more than 23 years of age.
Excellent academic result in SPM / STPM and / or Matriculation / Diploma.
Full-time course only.
This scholarship is for undergraduate course only (Matriculation / Diploma / Post Graduate is excluded).
Institute and programme must be recognized by JPA and MQA (Malaysian Qualification Agency).
All courses must be undertaken and completed in Pusat Pengajian Tinggi Awam Malaysia.
Qualified students from Hulu Selangor and Gombak districts are encouraged to apply.

HOW TO APPLY
Closing date for submission is on 26 July 2008.
Incomplete forms will not be processed.
Only shortlisted candidates shall be notified.
Kindly indicate “Perodua Scholarship” on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.

I am haribalan here.Currently i am doing my degree in a public uni and im in second year.My current CGPA is 3.42.Can i know whether i can apply for this scholarship or not.thank you

IM HAVING MY SPM THIS YEAR ( 2008 ) AND IM HAVING MY TRIAL ON 2ND SEPTEMBER 2008. I WONDER IF THERE IS ALREADY ANY SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR 2009 INTAKE ? I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE….I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A COURSE ON PHARMACY OR BUSINESS. PLEASE INFORM ME….THANK YOU

Hello…
I just started my master program this semester. I’ll be graduating for my first degree this august.
I really hope that Perodua can give me a chance to get a scholarship to support my study in master program.
As I read the information above, it is stated that the scholarship is just for undergraduate program and I’m really dissapointed because I’m searching for a scholarship right now..

I would like to ask whether i am qualified to apply for the Perodua Scholarship as i have just received my A Level result and i got A’s in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and B in Biology.
I would like to have a course of Bachelor of Pharmacy in UCSI ( University College Sedaya International) Malaysia. I will start the course for the July intake next year.
Can you give me some information about the scholarship?

I am a second year student from UniMAP (University of Malaysia Perlis). I just want to know whether this scholarship was available for me which is in course Biomedical Electronics Engineering. My current CGPA was 3.48.
