THE Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) Academic Scholarships 2008/2009 are now open for application.

This year, three two-year scholarships will be made available to eligible Malaysian students. Those who are sitting for their SPM examinations this year may apply.

Last year’s scholarship recipients (from left) Joe Yang and Wan Xin are happy to discuss their happy study experience at AISM with Armstrong. The scholarship offers are for a two-year matriculation course (Years 11 and 12) at AISM, leading to the Higher School Certificate.

Students will be able to experience a fully Australian curriculum.
English is a compulsory subject (offered at Advanced, Standard and ESL levels) but students need to study for another four or five subjects.

Last year’s AISM Academic Scholarship winners – Sabrina Lim, Chin Joe Yang and Yeoh Wan Xin – have blended well with the AISM community, said AISM principal Anne-Maree Armstrong.

The deadline for submission of applications is Dec 1. 2007

i had just obtained my spm result . and i hope to further my studies in food science and nutrition at ucsi. am i eligible for the scholarship . if yes, can u pls send me an applcation form. thankyou.

does this scorlaship extent to foreigners who are not citizens of Malaysia

I just found this website and I can see that there’s a lot of questions about this scholarship. I AM one of the scholarship student mentioned above and they usually open the scholarship offer before SPM and one has to apply during SPM and you’ll get the result of the offer right after your SPM. You will use your forecast results to apply. The courses they offer here is like STPM however the syllabi they offer here are under the NSW (New South Wales) curriculum. Subjects under this course are like english (compulsory), mathematics, general mathematics, mathematics extension, chemistry, biology, physics, modern history, legal studies, business studies, IT, malay language, photography, and PE. I am Indika Wijeratne (Sri Lankan) presently working as a Chief Accountant in Male’ Maldives, in reputed Shipping company. I have done AAT (SL) & I have professional work experience, I start my career, Trainee Audit & Accounts Clerk in Sri Lanka, after that I worked as an Asst. Accountant/Accountant for 8 years, (Audit firms, small & medium size companies, hotel trade etc.) also I worked Saudi Arabia as an Internal Auditor/Accountant for 4 years after completion of contract of Employment ; I joined Maldives Shipping co. and work there two years, after that I signed new contract with another new shipping co,
And presently I’m working as a Chief Accountant.
I have almost 13 years Auditing & Accounting experience ,I capable to do any accounting techniques and doing proper Accounting Management Reporting, Presentation in any another company .
But I need to study Professional Accounting & Finance Degree/CIMA UK/ACCA/MBA studies for me to have goodwill/future prospect, and to be a higher professional in this field.

I had very bad experience in my school age, my father was died due to heart attack and at that time we didn’t have any savings.
I have two sisters & one brother & my mother was house wife, but very difficult finance situation we studied well and as much as possible. But we couldn’t go university due to difficult finance situation.
After GCE (A/L) & AAT SL, I start my Accounting career in Audit firm.
Now I need to study one of this, Professional Accounting & Finance Degree/CIMA UK/ACCA/MBA etc; study for me to have, future prospect, and to be a higher professional in this field.
Therefore I’m kindly request you please consider above true facts and, please funding me for a
Higher studies.
