Shell Malaysia Scholarship 2009 is awarded to Malaysian students for pursuing full-time undergraduate studies tenable at recognized universities in Malaysia or overseas, and Pre-University studies in Malaysia.Preferred field of study for Shell Scholarship are Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical),Sciences (Geosciences, Chemistry and Physics),Business Administration / Economics,Finance & Accounting,IT (includes Business/ Management IT),Master of Science (MsC) in Geosciences.

To whom it may concern.

I would like to enquire. My maid’s, an Indonesian, gave birth to a wondeful little girl about 15 years ago, here in Malaysia, whilst in my father’s care. 2 years ago, my dad had officially adopted her as his child and she being more a sister to me than a maid’s daughter.

She is ultimately brilliant, scoring 5A’s for her UPSR and 10A’s for her PMR. She is now currently in Form 4 and we are unsure of what lies ahead of her. As she is SOOO Malysianised and speaks English so fluently that puts many Malaysian scholars to shame, her mother would prefer that she lives in Malaysia after graduating and not go back to Indonesia as her life is here. Being a holder of a red I/C, what are her options for scholarship? It would be a real waste it she does not pursue her education to the best schools due to monetory issues as she is extremely committed to excel.

Btw, she tuitions be children English and Maths for extra income. She is currently in the Science Stream.

I look forward for any encouraging and positive suggestions as to how we should path her future.

a few days before, someone called me and tell me that i’ve been selected to apply the shell scolarship.
she said that the detail will be send to me but untill now i don’t receive any email from shell…

hye..i was one of the shell scholar..i was awarded on 2005 and expecting to complete my study/course this year.. i was taking law now at iium…well, as far as i know, this scholarship is only for those who will pursue their degree in any related field whether in Malaysia or oversea..which means only a stpm leaver or diploma holder or who is currently in their final semester in matriculation centre are eligible to apply..only the field which has been stated before is encourage to apply..you see, the policy has change..during my time, on 2005, shell still open their scholarship for those who are interested to pursue their first degree in law, tesl and also medical..but, nowadays, they only interested with the field that will benefit or relevant to them..for more information, you should check shell website..or for sabahan, the advertisement usually posted in local english newspaper..i also got to know shell scholarship from newspaper…

for application, it can be made online via their website before 31st March 2009..hope you guys dont forget about it…just give a try, who knows..i still can remember the interview they conduct for shortlisted candidate..scary huh..since at that time, my english was ‘terabur’…hehehehe..but, they will not undermine you, do not worry…their staff are helpful..if you succeed, they will give you a call and then you see the rainbow of colour in front of you

Hi! im really searching for a scholarship that will help me continue my studies. i was working as a admin asst in one of the company in MAlaysia. unfortunately because of the economic downturn i was terminated from that company. Previousely i manage my study fee but now im unable to manage it. I hope that i will get it. its my last hope. pls. i had finished my SPM in 2002 and since last year starts continueing my study after a long problems. Hope to hear a good answer from you soonest.

petronas schloarship, you have to wait until your admittance to the university..they will advertise the application in the campus..as for TNB and Telekom Malaysia, check newspaper or their website… as far as i heard, petronas a little bit particualr about their scholar and also when they interview the applicant…but, it worth to try
