UEM scholarships (Overseas)
You will undergo a pre-university programme at Kolej Yayasan UEM, Lembah Beringin, after which you will proceed to study at a reputed university overseas.

This scholarship programme provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your full potential, and prepare you for an exciting career path in a widely –diversified group of companies.

The UEM scholarships for 2008 are for the following disciplines only:

Economics/ Business Management/Accounting/Finance, Bio-medicine (Pharmacy/Biotechnology) and Engineering.

The scholarships provide full academic fees, subsistence and book allowances, and for tertiary studies overseas, one return air ticket.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Malaysian citizen
2. Form Five (5) students in 2007
3. Excellent academic track record in Form 4 & 5, with no less than 7 A1 in relevant subjects in the SPM examinations.
4. Proficient in English, hardworking, possess positive personality traits and have an outstanding extra-curricular record.

SELECTION

Final selection for the scholarship will be based on performance in the following:

1. Interview
2. Participation in co-curricular activities
3. SPM and Form 4 examination results

Im a good student in school and one of the top student too..i use to get good results in school exams as well as trial exams.
But unfortunately,my real SPM result was something that I havent got in my life??I only manage to get 5A’ and i’m very,very disappointed with it!!
All the while i’ve been getting excellent result but when it comes to real SPM result it went the other way round..Can i apply for this scholarship??
This scholarship is in very much in need for me coz i come from a middle classed family and im a person with much ambition and future dreams!Hope that

I am a spm leaver, i just got my spm result last week…
I got 8A 4B, 6A1, 2A2 n 4B3. I knew tat my SPM result is not very good, but I really wish that I can further my studies in pharmacy course.
I come from a middle class family, my family can’t afford the expensive fee of the pharmacy course, I really wish that I can get this scholarship. So, can I know that am i elgible for this scholarship? Please reply, thank you very much!!!

The scholarship is meant for those people who took SPM on 2007 which I am aware of that but i still would like to know whether i am able to apply. Both my parents are retired. I’m not all that poor, just middle class. I need the scholarship so that i can further my studies in Business Administration which is good in the future as the business world is growing beyond our imagination in this century. i graduated form 5 two years back and am currently studying Diploma in Mass Communication in one of the local private colleges.
if i perform an excellent results with a cpga of 3.5 and above, am i still eligible to apply for this scholarship to pursue my degree in overseas universities?
i hope my request will be answered because i am willing to study very very hard just to get the scholarship.
i don’t want my dreams to be vanished just because my parents cant afford to support my education.
hence this scholarship is very much needed.
im more desperate to earn it as compared to other students out there.

Hi, I’m final year student from USM, major in Architecture. I just finished my part 1 Architecture course ( Bachelor of Science), and now was short listed to further my Professional Degree in Bachelor of Architecture (a.k.a 4th year student in School of Housing, Building & Planning).
Due to late sending of the official offer letter (will be received may be end of June) and final results (just released today) from our School, I’ve missed the scholarship application period as shown.

Hi, I’m 18 years lod student.I’m studying in matriculation college under the government.My CGPA for the first semester is only 3.49.I don not have my second semester CGPA result because I do not hve my exam yet.
My SPM 2007 result is 7A’s and 3B’s.Can I apply this application ?

engineering and CONSTRUCTION, ENVIRONMENTAL services,….are two of the businesses involved..(which have to do with the studies of ARCHITECTURE, briefly)

BUT,
The UEM scholarships for 2008 are for the following disciplines ONLY:

Economics/ Business Management/Accounting/Finance, Bio-medicine (Pharmacy/Biotechnology) and Engineering.

therefore,
i wud suggest that the head shud consider to add ARCHITECTURE studies/disciplines for the uem scholarship.

When you’re in the corner and have got no money to move out from that point, you would need to receive the loan. Just because it will help you emphatically. I get consolidation loans every time I need and feel myself good because of this.
