Reading is considered food for the soul, that’s why once you are discovering this passion – you can never go back. But even so, sometimes there is also a connection with the place you are in, and how that affects your state. Maybe that’s why we are creating our special place to read and go to a different universe in a heartbeat from the second we relax in our special place.
Tips & tricks for creating a cosy place for reading
That nook that has just the perfect vibe to relax, concentrate, and enjoy an amazing novel – you would love that, right? But how we can get that result with not a big investment or headaches?
The peace and relaxing time
First thing first: get rid of the things that may disturb you or grab your attention. This includes your cat/ dog, TV, or phone. It’s really important to do that in order to have your full attention to just relax and enjoy your book. Otherwise, you may not understand the information read at all, or you may need to repeat again and again the same page just to get that focus that will put you in the middle of the action.
Light, light, and light again
Yes, it is crucial to have that specific light. Not too bright, but also not just a glimpse of it. The warm light may be just the perfect choice to create that cosy feeling and to have a comfortable light for seeing what you read and also to create a relaxing atmosphere. Of course, there is always the best choice to read during the day to have natural light and not to make your eyes do an extra effort. If your reading nook is next to a big window or you can move there, don’t hesitate to do so, as you will never regret it.
The perfect chair
How and on what you are staying it’s essential for not having back pains or blood jams. It’s recommended to try before buying a chair, because if you will just order it online it may not be the perfect choice when it will arrive at your home. So, go to the showroom and enjoy trying all the chairs that could make your day be even better. Also, don’t be afraid to spend a little more money on it, as you will not buy every day that piece of furniture.
