This withdrawal allows you to withdraw your savings from Account II to finance your education / your children's education
(including step-children and legally adopted children) at the Institution Of Higher Learning (IHL) either locally or abroad.
Withdrawal for children's education was introduced on 1st April 2000 while the withdrawal for member's education was
introduced on 2nd January 2001.
The purpose is to finance education fees (which include tutorial fees, practical training fees, lab
fees, library fees, examination and thesis fees, computer lab and examinations), hostel fees and flight ticket only.

Field Of Study
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Masters Degree, Phd or any of the equivalents. You/ your
children have registered for any academic/ professional/ vocational programs with any approved Institute of Higher Learning by the Private
Education Department, Ministry of Higher Education (PED-MHE)or the National Accreditation Board (LAN), Eligibility
- Malaysian citizen or
- Malaysian citizen who has withdrawn your savings under Leaving The Country Withdrawal before 1st
August 1995 and subsequently made an election to re-contribute to EPF or
- Non-Malaysian citizen with Malaysian Permanent Resident (PR)status or
- Non-Malaysian citizen (Expatriate) who became a member of the EPF before 1st August
1998.
- Not reach 55 years of age on the date the application is received by the EPF.
- Still have savings in Account II.
