Company Profile

Hong Leong Foundation on an annual basis, awards scholarships to pursue Diploma and Undergraduate studies in local universities and selected institutions of higher learning (3+0 Twinning Programme) to help academically bright students reach their full potential through education.

This award is not a loan and it does not have to be repaid, nor are holders bonded to serve the Group upon graduation.

Each year the Foundation commits approximately RM1 Million towards education. To be eligible, applicants had to excel academically, display outstanding leadership qualities, matched by notable participation in extra curricular activities.

Accounting / Business Studies / Management / Finance / Actuarial Science / Engineering (all fields) / Hotel Management / IT / Computer Science / Creative Multimedia.

Eligibility

  1. For SPM - At least 5As and 2 other passes from a minimum of 7 subjects.
  2. For STPM - At least 3As and a pass in the General Paper.
  3. For Diploma or Matriculation - A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.5.
  4. Obtained or awaiting admission into local universities / Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman.
