Scholarship Name Yayasan KLK Scholarship
Field Of Study For Malaysian students interested in a career in The Malaysian Plantation Industry. They are tenable at recognized local government universities / institutions of higher learning and are for the minimum period laid down for the approved courses.
Eligibility

Opened to all qualified Malaysia citizens including employees’ children of the KUALA LUMPUR KEPONG BHD Groups of Companies provided that they have the necessary qualifications and are able to gain or have gained admission to recognized local government universities / institutions of higher learning.

Candidates will be interviewed by Selection Committee appointed by the Yayasan.

The scholarship holder will be required to undertake practical training during the university vacations in the Yayasan or with any of the companies selected by the Yayasan.

On completion of his course of study, the scholarship holder may be required to enter into the service of the Yayasan or any of the companies selected by the Yayasan for a period of not less than two (2) years for diploma and not less than three (3) years for degree course, from the date appointment.

In the event of failure to enter into the service of the Yayasan or any of the companies selected by the Yaysan, if so requested by the Yayasan or in the event of having entered into the service but not remaining for the minimum period referred to as above, the scholarship holder will be required to repay the Yayasan the scholarship in lump sum proportionate to eighty percent (80%) the outstanding period of service not performed.
Scholarship amount RM5,000 per annum for diploma courses and RM7,000 per annum for degree courses.
